Best Pokemon Card Deals in Singapore (5 October 2026)

This week's top Pokemon card deals in Singapore — savings of 15–49% below rebuilt book value. Team Rocket's Meowth at S$11 and Mega Darkrai ex at S$178 lead the board, and the value-tier flip is the widest we have measured in 2026.

Where Are the Best Pokemon Card Deals in Singapore This Week? (Week of 5 October 2026)

We scanned Carousell, Telegram trading groups, KyoCards, SNKRDUNK, Yuyutei and CardMarket — here are this week's biggest savings against book value

A Japanese Mega Dream ex Psyduck will cost you S$13.32 or S$31 this week, and nothing about the card changes between those two numbers. The only variable is which tab you open first — and that S$17.68 gap on a twenty-dollar card is the entire reason this column exists.

We pulled fresh tcgTalk Singapore Market Mapper data on 3 October 2026, covering 20,711 tracked cards, and measured every live listing against its PriceCharting market price — the closest thing this hobby has to a neutral book value. When we say a card is 30% off, the cheapest live listing sits 30% below book, not below some other platform's hopeful ask.

Every baseline here was rebuilt from scratch against the 3 October snapshot at a measured S$1.2796 to the US dollar. We do not use the cached baseline our own API returns, because only 27.7% of it is current.

If you follow Pokemon card prices Singapore collectors actually pay, two things matter this week: the value-tier flip has widened to its largest gap of 2026, and one major platform's price feed has gone three months stale.

This Week's Highlights

- Best deal: Team Rocket's Meowth #109 (Glory of Team Rocket) at S$11 in a Telegram trading group — 48.6% below its rebuilt S$21.41 book value.
- Best high-value deal: Mega Darkrai ex #114 (Abyss Eye) at S$178.20 on Yuyutei — 20% below its S$222.77 book, against S$276 on SNKRDUNK and S$360 on Carousell.
- Hot platform: Yuyutei held the lowest price on 28 of this week's 35 clean, current deals — not because it is structurally cheapest, but because it is one of only three feeds with fresh data.
- The value-tier flip, 2026's widest: below S$50 Yuyutei runs 14.7% under book; above S$50 it runs 60.7% over. A 75-point swing on the same retailer, decided purely by card value.
- The number that should change your habits: the median clean card spreads 42% between its cheapest and dearest platform. Four in ten spread more than 50%.
- Cards analysed: 20,711 tracked, narrowed to 2,976 with a verified same-day book value, of which 509 carried three or more live platform listings.

Scope: Week of 5 October 2026 · tcgTalk Singapore Market Mapper, generated 3 October 2026 · baseline = PriceCharting loose price from the 3 October snapshot at S$1.2796/USD · all prices SGD · lowest live price per platform · cards with fewer than two confirmed PriceCharting sales excluded · sets released in the last 30 days excluded · variant mismatches and listings more than 75% under book excluded.

The Platform Scorecard: Who Is Actually Cheapest?

Median deviation from book for every platform, across all cards priced S$5 and up. The final column is new this week, and it reframes everything underneath it.

SNKRDUNK+43.3%16.6%65588 days
\CardMarket's coverage is too thin to rank — five usable singles in the entire sample.*

That last column is the story. SNKRDUNK's entire price feed in this dataset dates to 6 July 2026 — all 655 listings are 88 days old. KyoCards' median listing is 61 days old; Carousell's is 40. Only Telegram, Yuyutei and CardMarket are reporting prices from this week.

A platform whose prices are three months old looks cheap in a rising market and dear in a falling one, and the median will not tell you which. Read the scorecard as two claims: Telegram and Yuyutei are telling you about today; the rest about August and July.

Restrict it to listings refreshed in the last 14 days and it thins sharply:
PlatformMedian vs bookListings below bookCurrent listings

Telegram Groups−30.1%79.1%91
Yuyutei+3.4%47.4%1,380
Carousell+9.5%28.2%71
KyoCards and SNKRDUNK disappear. That is no judgement on either retailer — KyoCards has been the most consistent value source we track all year. It means our data on them is not current, and we would rather say so than print a ranking built on July prices.

One absence worth naming: TCGPlayer and Facebook Marketplace have no live rows at all this week. TCGPlayer contributed 257 listings to our 21 September report and is now at zero.

The Value-Tier Flip: The Most Useful Thing in This Report

Split the same data by card value and the rankings do not shift, they invert. It is the most actionable pattern in Pokemon TCG Singapore pricing, and wider this week than at any point in 2026.

KyoCards+16.7%28.8%163
Telegram Groups+37.6%50.0%6
Yuyutei+60.7%19.8%562
Yuyutei goes from 14.7% under book to 60.7% over — a 75-point reversal. SNKRDUNK goes from 73.2% over to 12.3% over and becomes competitive. Push the cut to S$150 and it sharpens again: Carousell +12.5%, SNKRDUNK +15.3%, KyoCards +35.4%, Yuyutei +88.6%.

Two mechanical reasons, both worth understanding rather than memorising.

SNKRDUNK's floor. The platform carries an effective minimum near S$21 once authentication and handling are in. On a S$12 art rare that reads as a 73% markup; on a S$400 chase card it is noise. Nothing got cheaper between the tables — the fee stopped mattering.

Yuyutei's price ladder. Yuyutei prices into fixed yen tiers, not per card: across 3,310 live listings there are only 62 distinct prices. That coarse ladder is a gift on everyday singles, where the nearest rung often sits under book. On chase cards the rungs are hundreds of dollars apart and the nearest one is almost always above — and Yuyutei prices for Japan, not for someone paying freight to Singapore.

Win rates agree. Among 260 clean multi-platform cards under S$50, the cheapest price sat on KyoCards 41.9% of the time and Yuyutei 38.5%. Among the 92 cards at S$50 and up: SNKRDUNK 42.4%, Yuyutei 29.3%.

The rule: under S$50, open Yuyutei, KyoCards and your Telegram groups. Over S$50, open SNKRDUNK and Carousell first, and treat a Yuyutei quote on a chase card as a ceiling, not a price.

Why We Rebuild Every Baseline

Our own API returns a cached PriceCharting baseline for every card. Measured against a freshly rebuilt baseline across all 2,976 scored cards, 27.7% were within 2% of the true current value, 41.2% within 10%, the median absolute error was 15.2%, and 522 cards — one in six — were off by more than 25%. The cause is a cache refresh that touches only part of the table, leaving roughly 63,000 rows frozen since late January 2026. Four of the worst from this week's liquid cards:
CardCached baselineTrue book (3 Oct)Cached figure is
Rayquaza [Reverse Holo] #77 (EX Battle Boost)S$757.31S$31.892,275% too high
Mega Gardevoir EX #51 (Tidal Storm)S$164.07S$31.98413% too high
Gladion #55 (Awakened Heroes)S$369.13S$102.37261% too high
Marnie #72 (Japanese Shield)S$100.96S$38.39163% too high
That Marnie produced a wrong headline in our 31 August 2026 roundup — printed as "31% off" when it was trading well above book. It is still wrong in the cache today. The lesson: an inflated baseline manufactures a discount that does not exist. A badge reading "40% off market price" only means something if market price was measured this week.

Top 10 Deals This Week

Every deal survived the same screen: a verified same-day book value, two or more confirmed PriceCharting sales, three or more live platform listings, a cheapest price 15–75% under book, a platform cluster that broadly agrees with book (so one bad match cannot manufacture a deal), decent liquidity, and a cheapest listing refreshed within 14 days. Sixty-nine cards passed everything but the freshness test; 35 passed all of it.

1. Team Rocket's Meowth #109 (Glory of Team Rocket) — 48.6% Off

PlatformPricevs bookData age
Telegram GroupsS$11.00−48.6%today
KyoCardsS$14.00−34.6%40 days
YuyuteiS$22.32+4.3%today
SNKRDUNKS$29.00+35.5%88 days
Three of four sources agree the card is worth roughly twenty dollars and one seller is clearing it at eleven. The cluster median sits 15.2% under book, so the softness is real and the Telegram price is its floor, not an outlier. 710 confirmed sales makes this liquid rather than a thin-market guess, and it is exactly the mid-tier art rare that moves constantly in local trading groups.

Verdict: Buy. The only deal this week where cheap price, book value and data freshness all line up.

2. Espurr #16 (PokeKyun Collection) — 45.9% Off

Book S$82.84. Our cache said S$62; the real number is 25% higher.

SNKRDUNKS$72.00−13.1%88 days
CarousellS$77.00−7.0%52 days
PokeKyun Collection is a 2016 Japanese promo set whose book value is now driven largely by Western demand; Yuyutei prices it for Japan, which is the whole 46% gap. These singles almost never surface in Peninsula Plaza or the Bugis shops, and carry a hunter's premium when they do. Factor S$15–25 of proxy and freight into that S$44.82 — still a saving.

Verdict: Buy, shipping maths first. Even landed, this beats the S$72 SNKRDUNK ask.

3. Psyduck #199 (Mega Dream ex) — 36.6% Off

Book S$21.02. The best-covered card in the dataset, six platforms live.

CarousellS$24.00+14.2%22 days
SNKRDUNKS$31.00+47.5%88 days
Six independent sources is as good as our coverage gets, and the spread runs S$13.32 to S$31 — 133% on a card nobody would call expensive. With 13,729 confirmed sales, its book value is the most trustworthy figure in this report. It is also a perfect illustration of the SNKRDUNK floor: nothing is wrong with the S$31 ask, it reflects authentication on a card that costs thirteen dollars wholesale. Most local collectors should not pay it.

Verdict: Buy at S$13.32, or S$20 from a Telegram seller if you want it in hand this week.

4. Mega Dragalge ex #116 (Ninja Spinner) — 36.1% Off

Two of three sources sit under book, so the softness is not one mispriced listing. Ninja Spinner boxes are still on shelves at DEKTCG and Concept City, and that steady local supply is why the card sits under book — and why the gap will not persist once the set stops being opened.

Verdict: Buy for a binder. Wait if you are speculating.

5. Mega Diancie ex #238 (Mega Dream ex) — 32.2% Off

Book S$26.30.

CarousellS$50.00+90.1%14 days
That S$50 Carousell ask against S$17.82 on Yuyutei is a 181% spread — the second-widest credible gap in our sample, with both cheapest sources well under book. The S$50 listing is the most instructive number on this page: not a scam, but a local seller pricing from memory or from a stale "market price" badge on a card whose value has drifted.

Verdict: Buy at S$17.82 or S$20. Walk away from the S$50 listing.

6. Dedenne #12 (PokeKyun Collection) — 31.9% Off

Book S$79.07. PSA 10 books at S$185.55.

Same dynamic as Espurr — Japanese domestic pricing against Western-driven book, with a 245% grading multiple off the Yuyutei price. A genuine grading candidate on print run and stock quality, but centring on this set is notoriously inconsistent: buy two, submit the better one, and treat any grading play as a 2027 exit given current turnaround from Singapore.

Verdict: Buy raw. Hold the grading plan until you can check centring in hand.

7. Iris's Fighting Spirit #247 (Mega Dream ex) — 29.9% Off

Book S$22.84.

YuyuteiS$16.02−29.9%1 day
KyoCardsS$20.00−12.4%56 days
SNKRDUNKS$26.00+13.8%88 days
Clean, unexciting and genuinely useful. Trainer art rares have been Mega Dream ex's most consistent performers, and two of three sources sit under book. Trainer SARs are also the quiet backbone of most local collections — far easier to complete a run of than the Mega ex chase cards, and the Singapore Pokemon Collectors Facebook group has run several Mega Dream ex trainer-run threads this month.

Verdict: Buy.

8. Mega Zeraora ex #112 (Abyss Eye) — 28.9% Off

Book S$31.40.
PlatformPricevs bookData age

KyoCardsS$38.00+21.0%40 days
Three of four platforms cluster tightly around book — median +3.5% — with Yuyutei the lone outlier underneath. That is the signature of a real deal: everyone agrees on the value, one seller is below it. Abyss Eye is well distributed locally (80 tracked cards), and the S$32 Carousell listing is fairly priced if you want the card this week.

Verdict: Buy — Yuyutei if you can wait, Carousell at S$32 if you cannot.

9. Darkrai VSTAR #228 (VSTAR Universe) — 28.4% Off

Book S$62.64. Our cache had this at S$36, which would have made the Yuyutei price look like a 24% markup.
PlatformPricevs bookData age
YuyuteiS$44.82−28.4%1 day
SNKRDUNKS$53.00−15.4%88 days
KyoCardsS$65.00+3.8%61 days
A textbook demonstration of why we rebuild baselines — on the cached figure this card does not appear in the deals list at all. VSTAR Universe is the most consistently traded high-class set in the local market (109 cards in our sample), and shops around Bugis still stock loose singles from it at roughly book, so the Yuyutei gap is import arbitrage rather than local softness.

Verdict: Buy. The best risk-adjusted pick after the Meowth.

10. Steven's Metagross ex #245 (Mega Dream ex) — 27.7% Off

Book S$37.11, 825 confirmed sales.
PlatformPricevs bookData age
YuyuteiS$26.82−27.7%1 day
SNKRDUNKS$35.00−5.7%88 days
KyoCardsS$40.00+7.8%56 days
A tight cluster near book and a ten-dollar gap to the next cheapest source. Steven's Metagross has held its level better than the set's Mega ex cards, and it appears in almost every local binder-clearing post — a Telegram offer near S$28 is realistic within a fortnight.

Verdict: Buy at S$26.82, or wait a fortnight for a local seller.

High-Value Picks: S$100 and Above

The over-S$100 shelf is where our data is weakest, because SNKRDUNK — normally the best source above S$50, winning 42.4% of those cards — is reporting July prices. These five cleared the same screen with a current cheapest listing.

All five cheapest prices are Yuyutei — and the tier table put Yuyutei's median above S$50 at +60.7%. These are the exceptions where its ladder landed below book, not evidence the pattern reversed. Check each individually.

Biggest Price Gaps This Week

The widest credible spreads — cards with 100+ confirmed sales where every platform price sits within a sane band of book, so the gap is real disagreement rather than a bad match.

Lugia V #110 (Paradigm Trigger)S$775 SNKRDUNKS$1,750 KyoCards+126%S$952.16
The Oricorio ex row cuts against the easy narrative. Telegram is the cheapest source in our scorecard overall — and here a Telegram seller wants S$100 for a card that books at S$40.60 and sells at S$31.32 on Yuyutei. Being cheap on median does not make any individual ask fair; same for KyoCards at S$886 and S$1,750 on those two rows.

Across the 172 cleanest multi-platform cards the median spread is 42%, the 75th percentile 72%, the 90th percentile 112%.

What We Deliberately Left Out

30th Celebration singles. Released 16 September 2026, inside our 30-day exclusion window. New-set loose prices on PriceCharting run 2.4x to 9.6x the real market level for the first few weeks, because the price is built from a handful of pre-release and launch sales. Twenty-one cards were excluded. Carousell asks sit above even that inflated book across most of the set — Pikachu ex #149 at S$188 against a S$95.97 "book", Chandelure #137 at S$12 against S$6.24. The local market is pricing the hype. We will have a usable read in mid-October.

Sealed product. Our dataset includes a sealed-only source matching by set and product type rather than card number. Its 59 listings run a median 20.6% above book, and mixing them into a singles table would contaminate every median. The 30th Celebration ETB sits at S$279.28 against a S$204.11 book — 37% over, consistent with every other new-release ETB we track.

Cards with no confirmed sales. PriceCharting writes a placeholder for cards it has never recorded a sale on. 102 cards carried that flag and were dropped — treating a placeholder as a market price is how you publish a 90% discount on a card nobody has ever bought.

"Deals" that failed the cluster test. Audino #156 (Black Bolt) shows S$7 on Telegram and S$6 on KyoCards against a S$20.74 book — but when two independent sources agree at a third of book, the book is wrong, not discounted twice. Likewise Carousell listings for English SV 151 Squirtle #170 at S$30 and Charmander #168 at S$35 against books of S$102.92 and S$115.17. Condition or variant mismatches. Verify in person.

Recommendations by Budget

Budget Collectors (S$100–300/month)

1. Spend under S$50 a card, where the data is clearest. It is the one tier where three platforms sit meaningfully below book — Yuyutei at −14.7% and KyoCards at −21.3% are structural, not weekly flukes.
2. Join the Telegram trading groups and actually read them. At −32.9% median with 80% of listings under book, Telegram is the best value source for everyday singles — and only 92 tracked listings market-wide, so you are hunting, not shopping.
3. Do not buy sub-S$30 cards on SNKRDUNK. +73.2% median under S$50. On a twelve-dollar art rare you are paying more for the certificate than the card.
4. This week: Team Rocket's Meowth at S$11, Psyduck #199 at S$13.32, Mega Dragalge ex at S$13.32.

Serious Collectors (S$500–1,500/month)

1. Work the value-tier flip deliberately. Split your list at S$50 and shop the halves on different platforms. Buying everything on one site means systematically overpaying on half your collection.
2. Treat our SNKRDUNK and KyoCards figures as provisional and check both sites directly before committing above S$100. Our feeds are 88 and 61 days old — our limitation, not theirs.
3. The two PokeKyun cards are the week's most interesting asymmetry — Espurr at S$44.82 and Dedenne at S$53.82 against books of S$82.84 and S$79.07.
4. Consolidate your imports. Yuyutei holds the cheapest price on 28 of this week's 35 clean deals; one proxy order covering six cards amortises freight in a way six separate orders never will.

High-End Collectors (S$2,000+/month)

1. Above S$150, Yuyutei is a ceiling, not a source — median +88.6%, with 11.6% of listings under book. Use it to sanity-check what a card should not cost.
2. Carousell is your first stop on chase cards — median +12.5% above S$150 and cheapest on 10.9% of them. Local pickup also removes the import and authentication friction that eats any paper saving at this level.
3. Mega Darkrai ex #114 at S$178.20 is the week's best three-figure entry — 20% under a book backed by 2,423 sales, against a S$360 Carousell ask.
4. Never buy a S$500+ card against a "market price" you have not dated. At this spend a 15% median baseline error is real money per transaction.

Local Market Pulse

If you are shopping for Singapore Pokemon cards right now, the local scene is firmly in Mega Dream ex and Abyss Eye territory. Mega Dream ex alone accounts for 170 of our 2,976 scored cards, with Abyss Eye at 80 and the Black Bolt / White Flare pair together at 246. Liquid sets have trustworthy book values and tighter spreads, so that concentration is good for buyers.

Peninsula Plaza is still the place for Japanese singles you want to inspect before paying, and the premium over Yuyutei is roughly what you would expect for holding the card first. The Bugis shops have been steadier on VSTAR Universe singles than anywhere else. Sim Lim Square's TCG corners remain the best bet for older promo sets like PokeKyun in person, though stock is sparse and hunter's pricing applies.

Bricks Play, DEKTCG and Concept City all still have Ninja Spinner and Abyss Eye product on shelves, and that continuing supply is exactly why those sets' singles sit under book. The 30th Celebration hype has not translated into local discounting — if anything the opposite.

The Singapore Pokemon Collectors Facebook group has had an unusually high volume of Mega Dream ex trainer-run completion threads this month, which historically precedes a firming in trainer SAR prices. The Telegram trading groups remain both the best value source in the market and the thinnest catalogue.

How to Lock In These Deals

1. Check the source first. Yuyutei prices move with their stock ladder and a rung can clear in a day. Every price here was live on 3 October 2026.
2. Date every "market price" you see. If a listing claims a discount without saying when the baseline was measured, assume it was not measured this week.
3. Verify condition before you celebrate. A 60%-off Japanese single is usually a condition story or a variant mismatch. The deals above passed a cluster test to screen that out; a random listing has not.
4. Factor in landed cost. Proxy fees plus freight on a single S$16 Yuyutei card can erase the saving. Batch your order.
5. Cross-compare at least two platforms. The median clean card spreads 42% — one extra tab is worth about a fifth of what you are about to spend.

What to Watch Next Week

30th Celebration becomes readable. The set clears our 30-day window on 16 October. Based on current Carousell asks, expect the first honest read to show local sellers meaningfully over market.

Whether the stale feeds come back. SNKRDUNK at 88 days and KyoCards at 61 are the biggest gaps in this report, and TCGPlayer has dropped out entirely since 21 September. If those refresh, the over-S$50 half of the scorecard becomes trustworthy again.

Mega Dream ex trainer SARs. Community completion threads plus a tight cluster near book usually precede a firming. Steven's Metagross ex at S$26.82 and Iris's Fighting Spirit at S$16.02 are the two to watch.

PokeKyun Collection. Two cards from a 2016 promo set in one week's top ten is unusual. If Yuyutei's domestic pricing stays this far below Western book, this is a durable arbitrage rather than a one-week anomaly.
