Best Pokemon Card Deals in Singapore (26 October 2026)

This week's Pokemon card deals in Singapore — 86 cards clear every data-quality guard, 40 of them priced entirely on listings under two weeks old. Yuyutei cut its whole Start Deck 100 ladder by a third, and the stale book-value cache we have warned about for five editions was finally rebuilt.

Where Are the Best Pokemon Card Deals in Singapore This Week?

Week of 26 October 2026 — 86 cards clear every guard, Yuyutei cuts a whole set's prices, and the baseline problem we have been apologising for since September is fixed

A Japanese Start Deck 100 Carbink #752 is listed at S$7.02 on Yuyutei this morning. Its rebuilt book value is S$25.44, and KyoCards has the same card at S$24. That is 72% under book, the deepest clean discount on this week's board — and the number that makes it interesting is not the 72%. It is S$11.52, which is what the same Yuyutei listing cost when we published it in this column seven days ago. Yuyutei did not get cheaper relative to a moving book. It cut the price by 39%.

It did the same thing across the whole set. Weavile #746 went from S$13.32 to S$8.82, a 34% cut. Across all 75 Start Deck 100 listings we can score, Yuyutei's median ask now sits 54% below book. Seven of this week's 86 board cards come from that one Japan-only product.

The second piece of news is duller and more important. For five straight editions this column has carried a warning that the book values on our own Singapore Pokemon cards price-comparison tool were stale — 63,463 cached rows frozen at 29 January 2026, which is why we rebuild every baseline by hand before writing a word. That cache was rebuilt on 23 October. It is now current for 97% of Pokemon cards, and it agrees with our hand-rebuilt figures within 2% on nine cards in ten. If you have been using the site's comparison tool and quietly distrusting it on our advice, you can stop.

This Week's Highlights

- Best deal: Carbink #752 (Japanese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection) at S$7.02 on Yuyutei — 72% below its S$25.44 book, with KyoCards at S$24 on the same card. Both prices under a fortnight old.
- Best high-value deal: Mega Greninja Ex #120 (Ninja Spinner) at S$448.20 on Yuyutei — 23% below its S$584.97 book, with KyoCards at S$483.72. Two current feeds inside 8% of each other.
- The board: 86 cards clear every guard. Median saving 30%, median book S$26.64, range 20–74%. Yuyutei holds the cheapest live price on 62 of them, KyoCards on 17, Telegram groups on six, Carousell on one.
- A whole set repriced: Yuyutei's Start Deck 100 ladder dropped one to two tiers this week. Its median across the set is 54% under book, against 17% under across everything else it lists.
- The flip still holds, and it got worse. Below S$50 Yuyutei runs 17% under book. Above S$200 it runs 84% over, and it is above book on 92% of the 139 chase cards where it has a live price.
- Our baselines are no longer the weak link. 94,294 of 94,441 Pokemon cache rows are now CSV-sourced, and 91,613 of them were rewritten on 23 October. Only 107 `pricedatasync` rows survive, down from 63,463.
- Cards analysed: 20,862 tracked, 17,671 with a verified same-day book value, 1,862 carrying two or more live platform listings, 86 surviving every guard, and 40 priced entirely on listings 14 days old or newer.

Scope: Week of 26 October 2026 · tcgTalk Singapore Market Mapper, comparison set generated 24 October 2026 · baseline = PriceCharting loose price from the 24 October snapshot at S$1.2778/USD (derived, not assumed) · all prices SGD · lowest live price per platform · cards with fewer than two confirmed PriceCharting sales excluded · sets released in the last 30 days excluded · CardMarket and pokecompare.com excluded (reasons below) · listings outside a 0.25×–4× band around book excluded as variant mismatches · cards whose dearest platform asks more than 4× its cheapest dropped entirely.

KyoCards has stopped refreshing again. Last week we reported its feed had come back after five weeks dark, with a seven-day median, and we said in print that the expensive half of this report "rests entirely on that one second opinion." Its newest row is still 10 October. The median has aged from 7 days to 13, live rows have fallen from 5,769 to 5,101, and 38% of its listings are now over a month old. The 10 October refresh was a one-off, not a resumption. Everything below involving a card over S$50 should be read with that in mind, and two rows in our chase table now rest on 82-day-old KyoCards asks — we have labelled them.

Carousell is still catching up rather than keeping up. Its newest row is from yesterday and the share of listings under 30 days improved from 55% to 59%, but the median is unchanged at 26 days and only 30% of its rows are under a fortnight. Treat a Carousell price here as a real ask that may already be gone; every Carousell figure below carries its age.

Three of the platforms we claim to track returned nothing at all. SNKRDUNK, TCGPlayer and Facebook contribute zero live rows for the third week running. We said in the 19 October edition that if they were not back by the November editions we would drop them from our stated platform list. That deadline is next week and we intend to keep it.

The Platform Scorecard: Who Is Actually Cheapest?

Median deviation from the rebuilt PriceCharting baseline, per platform, on cards with a book value of S$5 or more. Negative means below book. 6,515 listings were scored; the mismatch band removed 12.4% on the low side and 2.3% on the high side.

Every platform landed within a point of its 19 October figure — Telegram −25% then and −26% now, Yuyutei −18% and −17%, KyoCards −10% and −9%, Carousell +12% and +10%. Two consecutive weeks on the same basis is the first time this column has been able to say the scorecard is stable rather than merely plausible.

Telegram trading groups are again the cheapest source in Singapore, with three quarters of community asks below book and a quartile of them more than 46% under. The catch is unchanged: 87 scored listings against Yuyutei's 3,403. You cannot shop a want-list in a Telegram group; you can get a bargain on whatever happens to be posted.

Carousell remains the only platform above book at the median. That is the local marketplace premium Singapore collectors already suspect — a third of asks below book, two thirds above, and the top quartile sitting 43% over.

The Value-Tier Flip

Re-run the same scorecard at higher book values and the ordering inverts.

Yuyutei swings 101 percentage points across the price range, on the same retailer, in the same week. On everyday singles it is 17% under book. On cards over S$200 it is 84% over — and it is above book on 92% of the 139 chase cards where it has a live price, against 79% for KyoCards and 68% for Carousell.

Here is the same thing card by card, with the age of every corroborating ask, because this week two of them are old:

The two Bandit Ring rows are the ones we led with last week, and they are the ones to treat carefully now: both KyoCards asks are from 3 August. The spread is almost certainly still real — Yuyutei's asks on those cards have not moved in months either — but an 82-day-old price is not a price you can act on. Phone the shop.

The counterexample, which we publish because it exists. On Glaceon VMAX #91 (Eevee Heroes), book S$546.70, Yuyutei asks S$898.20 (+64%) and KyoCards asks S$1,388 (+154%, 61 days old). Yuyutei is the cheaper of the two by 35%. Roughly one chase listing in twelve is like this — the 8% where Yuyutei sits below book. The rule is still "don't default to Yuyutei above S$200," not "Yuyutei is always the expensive one."

Yuyutei Just Repriced an Entire Set

The single biggest price move we can see this week is not on a chase card. It is Yuyutei cutting its asks across Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, a Japan-only product whose book value is set by thin US-dollar sales.
CardBookYuyutei nowYuyutei on 19 OctChange
Carbink #752S$25.44S$7.02S$11.52−39%
Weavile #746S$29.54S$8.82S$13.32−34%
Those are the two cards we happened to print prices for last week, so they are the two we can check honestly. The set-wide picture supports them: Yuyutei's median ask across all 75 Start Deck 100 listings is now 54% below book, against 17% below across its whole catalogue, and the ladder is full of cards at a quarter to a third of book — Sprigatito ex #757 at S$7.02 against S$27.32, Marill #748 at S$17.82 against S$56.35, Slurpuff #750 at S$8.82 against S$27.29.

Two readings, and we cannot yet separate them. Either Yuyutei restocked the product and cut tiers accordingly, or a cheaper listing appeared alongside the old one and our pipeline — which always takes the lowest live ask per platform — is now quoting it. Both are real asks you can buy at today. Only the first would be a durable repricing, and next week's edition will tell us which it was.

What it is not is a book-value move. Carbink's book went from S$25.63 to S$25.44 in the week, and Weavile's from S$29.59 to S$29.54. The gap opened from the listing side.

Top Deals This Week

Every price in this section is 14 days old or newer on every platform quoted — 40 of the 86 board cards meet that bar, and these are the best of them.

1. Carbink #752 (Japanese Start Deck 100) — 72% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
YuyuteiS$7.02−72%0d
KyoCardsS$24.00−6%13d
Book S$25.44, 40 confirmed sales. KyoCards is essentially at book while Yuyutei is at a quarter of it — a 3.4× spread between two retail feeds on the same card, which is the clearest Japan-versus-Singapore retail gap on the board.

Verdict: Buy on Yuyutei. Note the thin sales volume: 40 confirmed sales means the book itself is less well-supported than on a liquid card, so treat S$7.02 as the market price and the book as the estimate.

2. Weavile #746 (Japanese Start Deck 100) — 70% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
YuyuteiS$8.82−70%0d
KyoCardsS$15.00−49%13d
Book S$29.54, 72 sales. Both feeds are far under book and the Singapore shop is 70% more expensive than the Japanese retailer.

Verdict: Buy on Yuyutei, or take the KyoCards copy at S$15 if you want it in hand this week — at these prices the freight is the deciding factor, not the ask.

3. Pidove #153 (Japanese Black Bolt) — 66% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
Telegram GroupsS$8.00−66%0d
KyoCardsS$10.54−55%13d
YuyuteiS$13.32−43%0d
Book S$23.58, 145 sales. Three independent feeds, all below book, which is the strongest corroboration on the board — and the same card led last week's column at the same S$8. When every independent source agrees the card is cheaper than book, part of the "discount" is the book being a US-dollar reference. The S$8 ask still undercuts the cheapest shop price by 24%.

Verdict: Buy. Confirm condition in hand; Black Bolt commons ship raw and corners matter.

4. Audino #156 (Japanese Black Bolt) — 65% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
Telegram GroupsS$7.00−65%0d
YuyuteiS$16.02−21%0d
Book S$20.24, 123 sales. A today-fresh community ask at 44% of the Japanese retail price on a liquid common.

Verdict: Buy, and ask the seller whether they have the rest of the Black Bolt commons — five cards from this set made the board.

5. Turtwig #206 (Japanese VSTAR Universe) — 48% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
KyoCardsS$12.00−48%13d
YuyuteiS$17.82−23%0d
Book S$23.22, 121 sales. One of the cards where the Singapore shop beats the Japanese retailer outright, by 33%. VSTAR Universe is a deep set local shops hold in quantity, so this is a floor rather than a single listing — but the price is 13 days old, so confirm stock.

Verdict: Buy local. No shipping, no wait, and cheaper.

6. Mega Dragalge Ex #116 (Japanese Ninja Spinner) — 45% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
YuyuteiS$11.52−45%0d
KyoCardsS$16.88−19%13d
Book S$20.76 on 541 confirmed sales — one of the most liquid cards on the board. A well-supported book makes a 45% discount mean more than the same percentage on a thin card.

Verdict: Buy. The liquidity cuts both ways: easy to buy, easy to sell on.

7. Radiant Eevee #55 (Japanese Pokemon GO) — 43% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
KyoCardsS$12.02−43%13d
YuyuteiS$16.02−25%0d
Book S$21.22, 529 sales. Radiant Eevee has a persistent local following and this is the cheapest verified ask we hold on it. Both feeds under book, 33% apart.

Verdict: Buy, local for preference — an Eevee card at a third off is not a listing that sits.

8. Dwebble #135 (Japanese Black Bolt) — 43% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
KyoCardsS$15.93−43%13d
YuyuteiS$17.82−36%0d
Book S$27.93, 145 sales. The two retail feeds are 12% apart, both well under book — the signature of a US-dollar book that overstates a Japanese common rather than of a bargain.

Verdict: Buy either. Combine with the other Black Bolt commons to split freight.

9. Mega Greninja Ex #120 (Japanese Ninja Spinner) — 23% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
YuyuteiS$448.20−23%0d
KyoCardsS$483.72−17%13d
Book S$584.97, 191 sales. The best high-value deal on the board for the second week running, and a genuine exception to everything above about Yuyutei and chase cards: Ninja Spinner is a 2026 set, so Yuyutei is pricing it against live Japanese supply rather than domestic scarcity. Both feeds agree within 8%.

Verdict: Buy, with care. Two current feeds inside 8% of each other at a quarter under book is as reliable as this dataset gets. At S$448 verify condition and seller before transferring.

10. Gardevoir EX #101 (Japanese Scarlet Ex) — 23% off

PlatformPricevs bookAge
Telegram GroupsS$182.00−23%0d
YuyuteiS$223.20−6%0d
Book S$236.52, 158 sales. The same community ask as last week, still live, still 18% under Japanese retail. Scarlet Ex is recent enough that Yuyutei sits below book even at this value.

Verdict: Buy if the seller checks out. At this level, meet in person. Telegram deals above S$180 are where Singapore collectors get burned most often.

The card we refuse to headline

The largest saving on the whole board is a 74% discount on Typhlosion EX #99 (Sandstorm) — KyoCards at S$60 against a S$229.99 book, with a Carousell ask at S$190 agreeing that the card is worth three times the KyoCards price. We are not leading with it, because our pipeline cannot see listing condition, and a 2003 EN-era holo at a quarter of book is far more likely to be a played copy than a bargain. The corroborating Carousell ask is also 82 days old. If you want to chase it, the number to ask KyoCards for is the condition grade, not the price.

Where the board clusters

By set: VSTAR Universe 8 cards, Start Deck 100 Battle Collection 7, Mega Dream ex 7, PokeKyun Collection 6, Black Bolt 5, VMAX Climax 4. Four of the top six are Japan-only products, which is the same structural story as last week — US-dollar book values describe Japan-only print runs badly, and Yuyutei is where that gap is visible.

PokeKyun Collection is now a three-week pattern, not an anomaly. Yuyutei's median across its 31 scored PokeKyun cards is 44% below book, against 43% across 32 cards last week. If you collect this 2016 promo set, Yuyutei is simply where you buy.

By price tier the board is weighted to the cheap end: 49 cards book between S$20 and S$30, 20 between S$30 and S$50, 12 between S$50 and S$100, four between S$100 and S$250, one above. Median saving by tier runs 30% / 27% / 30% / 25% / 23% — there is no tier where discounts are systematically deeper, only tiers with more to choose from.

The Baseline Fix: What Changed on 23 October

Every discount above is measured against a book value, so it matters that the book values changed basis this week.

What was wrong. Our `pricecharting_cache` table refreshed only rows imported from the daily CSV. The other 63,463 rows — 67% of the cache — were frozen at 29 January 2026, and re-running the comparison cron did not fix them. That stale cache published a wrong headline in the 31 August edition, where a card shown as "31% off" was in fact 83% over book. Since September this column has rebuilt every baseline by hand from the daily PriceCharting snapshot rather than trust it.

What changed. On 23 October, 91,613 Pokemon cache rows were rewritten. The table now holds 94,294 CSV-sourced rows out of 94,441, with just 107 of the old `pricedatasync` rows left. 97% of rows carry a price written in the last week.

How we checked. We compared the API's baseline against our own rebuild for all 17,671 scored cards. The median ratio is 0.9997; 90.4% agree within 2% and 95.4% within 10%. Only 2.0% differ by more than a quarter, and those are mostly cards where the CSV itself moved between snapshots.

We are still rebuilding anyway, for two reasons. The cache can drift again — it did before, silently, for nine months — and a weekly hand-rebuild is the only way we would notice. And the rebuild gives us the sales-volume and release-date columns we use to drop placeholder prices and new sets, which the cache does not carry. But the warning that the site's own comparison figures were months stale no longer applies.

The FX rate is derived, not assumed. We take the median of `baselinepricesgd / baselinepriceusd` across a 1,000-row sample of current cache rows that carry both. It came out at 1.2778. We do not use the vendor SGD columns in the CSV, which bake in a roughly 1.37 vendor markup and are not an exchange rate.

Book value is still a US-dollar reference, not a Singapore market price. Across the 1,227 cards where two or more platforms both have a live, in-band price, the cross-platform consensus sits 16% below book. On 7.3% of them, every platform agrees at less than half of book. When two independent platforms agree at a third of book, the sensible conclusion is that the book is wrong — not that you have found two bargains.

What We Exclude, and Why

CardMarket — excluded entirely, third week running. Its 68 scorable listings return a median 90% below book, with 72% of rows more than three quarters under. That is a broken join, not a cheap platform, and the URLs prove it: a listing matched to "Absol #35/ADV-P" (book S$96.49) asks S$0.13; one matched to "Lillie [Lillie & Cosmog Special Box] #80/SM-P" (book S$511.11) asks S$1.02. The matcher is joining promo cards on card number alone and landing on different Pokemon. Even the 19 listings that survive our band still read −46% at the median. Its feed has also not refreshed since 26 September. Earlier editions of this column called CardMarket "almost always the cheapest platform where present"; that claim stays retracted until the join is fixed.

pokecompare.com — excluded from singles. It lists only sealed product and joins PriceCharting by expansion rather than card number. Its 74 rows are also all from 9 September, which is before 30th Celebration even reached shops, so they are no use for sealed pricing either.

The mismatch band, both sides. We drop any listing outside 0.25× to 4× of book — a 75% discount or a 300% premium, the same factor of four in each direction. This week it removed 12.4% of listings on the low side and 2.3% on the high side, in line with the 12.6% / 2.4% of last week.

The spread guard caught 41 cards, up from two last week. If a card's dearest live platform asks more than 4× its cheapest, we drop the card — the platforms are not pricing the same object. Unlike last week, when it caught a would-be headline, this week's 41 are almost all cheap cards where a shop's bulk price meets a Carousell ask built for a single sale: Yamper #99 at S$1.60 on KyoCards against S$20 on Carousell, Dreepy #211 at S$1 against S$10. The guard is doing routine work rather than saving us from ourselves.

Other guards: 2,547 cards were dropped for having fewer than two confirmed PriceCharting sales (that figure is PriceCharting's "no confirmed sales yet" placeholder, not a market price); 641 for having no loose price at all; sets released in the last 30 days are dropped; cards need at least two corroborating platforms; and the cheapest listing must be 14 days old or newer, which removed 17 otherwise-qualifying cards.

The honest limitations that remain. Of the 86 board cards, 46 have only stale corroboration — the cheapest price is current, but the platform confirming it is more than a fortnight old. That is why the Top Deals section is drawn only from the 40 fully fresh cards. And we cannot see condition on any listing: the comparison set carries a card-level condition, not a per-listing one, which is why the Typhlosion EX above is a question rather than a deal.

Recommendations by Budget

Budget collectors (S$100–300/month)

Shop Yuyutei, and shop it hardest on Japan-only products. At the under-S$50 end it is 17% under book at the median across 16,601 live listings, and 44–54% under on PokeKyun Collection and Start Deck 100. That combination of price and selection exists nowhere else in this dataset. Batch your orders: at these prices international freight matters more than the gap between platforms, so one order of eight cards beats four orders of two.

If you would rather buy in person, Bricks Play at 183 Toa Payoh Central and OBO Collectibles on Waterloo Street both price everyday Japanese singles sensibly, and you can inspect before paying — which no feed in this report lets you do.

Serious collectors (S$500–1,500/month)

This is where the flip starts to cost money. Between S$50 and S$200 Yuyutei's advantage is gone (+36% at the median) and KyoCards is the better default (+6%). Check both on every card: the spreads in this range run 20–30% in both directions, as Carbink's 3.4× gap and Brock's Grit #108 — S$17.82 on Yuyutei against S$36 at KyoCards — both show.

One caution specific to this week: KyoCards' feed is 13 days old and no longer refreshing. Confirm stock and price before you commit to anything based on it. It is a real shop on Singapore ground and a phone call settles it.

For anything in this range, physical verification is worth the trip. Peninsula Plaza and the neighbouring Peninsula Shopping Centre — where Game Academia sits at B1-38/39 — remain the densest concentration of Pokemon singles in Singapore. Sim Lim Square carries two more worth your time, TripleTactics TCG at #05-21 and Card Gaiden at #03-52, and the shops around Bugis will usually match a documented online price if you show them the listing. Concept City on Jalan Besar is the other reliable stop for mid-tier Japanese singles.

High-end collectors (S$2,000+/month)

Do not default to Yuyutei above S$200. It is above book on 92% of chase cards and 84% over at the median. Price every chase card against KyoCards and Carousell first — but this week, check the age of the quote you are comparing against, because KyoCards' chase-tier rows are a mix of 13-day-old and 82-day-old asks.

The two exceptions are instructive. Mega Greninja Ex and Gardevoir EX are both from recent sets, where Yuyutei prices against live Japanese supply rather than collector scarcity. And Glaceon VMAX #91 is the reverse case, where KyoCards asks 154% over book and Yuyutei is the cheaper option. The rule is "avoid Yuyutei on older, scarce Japanese chase cards," which is precisely where its domestic premium lives.

At this level, use the community. Telegram trading groups held the cheapest ask on Gardevoir EX (S$182, 23% under book) and Team Rocket's Nidoking ex (S$68, 26% under), and the Singapore Pokemon Collectors Facebook group is where high-value local sales get negotiated. Meet in person, verify in hand, and never transfer first.

Last Week's Watch List, Resolved

We make specific predictions here so they can be checked. Four from the 19 October edition:

❌ "Whether KyoCards' feed stays current." It did not. The median listing age went from 7 days to 13, the newest row is still 10 October, and live rows fell from 5,769 to 5,101. We flagged the risk correctly and the risk landed. The chase-tier table above is still publishable, but two of its eight rows now rest on 82-day-old prices and we have labelled them rather than quietly dropping them.

🟡 "Carousell's backlog." Partly cleared. The share of Carousell rows under 30 days went from 55% to 59% and its newest row is from yesterday, but the median is stuck at 26 days and only 30% are under a fortnight. Its +10% median premium is still a blend of current and two-month-old asks.

🟡 "30th Celebration's bulk — either KyoCards is underpricing or book values have not caught up." The books did fall: across the English print's singles, the median card is 7.8% cheaper than a month ago, and the Japanese print is flat. But that is not enough to explain a 38% discount, and on the same no-book-floor basis we used last week, KyoCards' median only moved from −38% to −36%. What actually narrowed was Carousell, from +55% to +41%. We were right about the direction and wrong about the size. There is more in this than a paragraph can hold, so we have given 30th Celebration its own report this week.

❌ "SNKRDUNK and TCGPlayer." Still zero live rows, third week running. November is the deadline we set ourselves to stop listing them as tracked platforms.

Also settled: the Mega Dream ex trainer SARs are flat for a third week. Steven's Metagross ex #245 is S$26.82 on Yuyutei and Iris's Fighting Spirit #247 is S$16.02 — the same prices we quoted on 5 October and 19 October, to the cent. We called them "firming" three weeks ago. They are not firming. They are not moving at all.

What to Watch Next Week

Whether Yuyutei's Start Deck 100 cut sticks. If those asks are still at S$7.02 and S$8.82 next Saturday, it is a repricing and the book values should start following it down. If they bounce back to the old tier, it was a single cheap listing passing through our "lowest live ask" rule and we will say so.

Whether the baseline cache stays current. It was rewritten on 23 October after nine months frozen. The test is not that it is right today; it is whether the share of rows updated in the last 48 hours is still near 97% next week. We will report that number weekly now.

KyoCards, again. Fourteen days without a refresh. If it is not back by 31 October, the over-S$50 half of this report goes back to being one current feed and a handful of stale asks — which is the condition under which we stopped publishing a chase ranking in early October.

The platform list. SNKRDUNK, TCGPlayer and Facebook have returned nothing for three weeks. We will either have them back or drop them from the stated seven in the first November edition.
