What Is OP15 / EV04 — Adventure on Kami Island?

OP15, officially titled Adventure on Kami Island and also referenced as EV04, is a One Piece Card Game booster set released in March 2026. It revisits the Sky Island arc — one of the most fan-beloved story arcs in the One Piece manga and anime — with Luffy and Enel as the centrepiece characters.

The set is notable for several reasons beyond its chase cards. OP15 introduces the first-ever deck concept that changes how the DON!! deck itself works — the Enel leader deck. It also brings new cards continuing the red, black, and yellow colour identities established in EV04, including new leader Bonnie and a suite of Sky Island-themed character and event cards.

The English version of OP15 was released shortly after the Japanese version and is available in 24-pack booster boxes (standard format) as well as double packs and blister packs.

OP15 set highlights

  • New mechanic: Enel leader — the first deck in One Piece TCG history that alters how the DON!! deck functions
  • Leaders: Sky Island Luffy, Brook (with alternate art parallel), Enel, and Bonnie
  • Manga Rares: Enel (primary chase) and Kobe
  • 3 Secret Rares: Sky Island Luffy (with golden bell), 10-cost Enel, and one additional SEC
  • SP cards: Including the six-cost Rush Luffy and others
  • Pre-release date: March 27, 2026
  • Packs per Japanese box: 24 (plus double pack with 2 additional packs and 1 DON!! pack)
  • English case size: 12 boxes = 288 packs

Top Chase Cards in OP15

Enel Manga Rare — The Big Chase

The Enel Manga Rare is the most sought-after card in OP15 by a significant margin. Enel is already a huge fan favourite, and the new Enel deck introduced in this set (the first to modify the DON!! deck) has generated serious competitive interest on top of the collector hype. The combination of fan favourite character, competitive viability, and manga-rare rarity makes this the chase card of the set.

Brook Alternate Art Leader

The Brook leader parallel is one of the most visually striking pulls in OP15. The alternate art cleverly plays on the Thriller Bark arc — Zoro's absence from the artwork is an intentional nod to a memorable moment from that story. Community response to this card has been overwhelmingly positive, and it stands out as one of the best leader parallel designs in the game's history.

Lightning Dragon (Event Alt Art)

The Lightning Dragon event card alternate art is part of a series of Enel-themed event alt arts in OP15. These cards — featuring a zero-cost main effect that draws a card and locks one of your opponent's rested characters from becoming active — are both competitive and visually exceptional. The full event alt art series for this set has been widely praised.

Roanoa Zoro (Yellow SR)

The Zoro SR from OP15 has been highlighted as likely seeing play in every yellow deck indefinitely. At four cost for 6,000 power, with an on-play effect that can add a card from the top of your deck to your life — it generates both board presence and life advantage simultaneously. High competitive demand combined with a reasonable pull rate makes this a valuable card from the set.

Sanji (Brook SR — Straw Hat Restander)

The Brook SR at six cost enables powerful combo potential: on play it rests an opponent's card (any card), and with an activate main effect it can re-stand one of your characters with a base cost of eight or less that doesn't have to be Straw Hat type. The flexibility and combo potential have made this one of the most discussed SRs in OP15 for competitive play.

OP15 Pull Rate Data by Rarity

Bandai does not publish official pull rates for One Piece TCG. The estimates below are derived from multiple documented OP15 box and case openings — including a full 12-box English case, a single Japanese box, and a comparison opening of 24 blisters against a booster box. These are community estimates, not guarantees.

Single Box Opening Results

A documented single Japanese box + double pack opening of OP15 produced the following hits. This opening was widely considered above average.

From the 24-pack main box:

  • Lightning Dragon alternate art event card (parallel)
  • Sabo SR
  • Brook SR
  • Wiper SR
  • Rob Luchi SR
  • Brook alternate art leader parallel (leader parallel)

From the double pack (2 packs + DON!! pack):

  • Smoker and Tashigi SR
  • Rob Luchi SR
  • Sky Island-themed DON!! card (standard)

Summary: 5 unique SRs in 24 packs, 1 leader parallel, 1 alt art event parallel. No Secret Rare in this box. This was described by the opener as "incredible" — indicating this result was above typical expectations. A standard box will more commonly land 3–4 SRs without a leader parallel.

Key takeaway from single box data

Secret Rares and leader parallels are not guaranteed in a single box. A "good" box in OP15 lands 4–5 SRs plus either a SEC or a leader parallel. A "standard" box is 3–4 SRs with neither. A "bad" box can produce 3 SRs and nothing else premium. All of these outcomes are within normal range.

Case Opening Results — 288 Packs (English OP15)

A documented English OP15 case opening (12 boxes, 288 packs) was conducted with the primary goal of pulling the Enel Manga Rare. The highlights from this opening illustrate typical case-level variance:

Notable pulls from the case:

  • Monkey D Luffy Secret Rare (Gear Five) — one of the three SECs in the set
  • Multiple alt art rares including Rebecca Alt SR
  • Multiple gold DON!! pulls (2–3 across the case)
  • Multiple leader cards including Monkey D Luffy leader parallels
  • Jewelry Bonnie SR
  • Multiple SP cards
  • Multiple Nico Robin and other character alt art rares

Manga Rare result:

Zero Manga Rares from 288 packs. The opener spent approximately USD $2,500 on the case and did not pull the Enel Manga Rare. This is not an unusual outcome — Manga Rares are genuinely that rare, and zero from a full case is a realistic and expected result for a significant portion of case openers.

Community data from pre-release events supports this: at a pre-release tournament, one attendee at a nearby table pulled a Manga Rare — but that was one person among dozens. The odds are real.

Blisters vs Booster Box: Which Is Better for OP15?

A documented head-to-head comparison of 24 blisters against 1 booster box produced these results:

FormatPacks OpenedTotal HitsHighlights
Booster Box24 packs4 hits + 1 Gold DON!!SRs, alt arts, Gold DON!!
24 Blisters~72 packs (est.)5+ hits including leader alt artKobe leader alt art, Enel SR, alt Zoro, alt Croc

When adjusted for total packs opened (blisters contain more packs than a single box), the hit rate per pack was comparable between the two formats. The booster box produced 4 hits in 24 packs; the blisters produced more total hits but across more packs. Neither format holds a statistical advantage on a per-pack basis.

When to choose each format

  • Booster box: Best packs-per-dollar, ideal for players wanting playsets, easier to resell dead packs if needed
  • Blisters: Better for opening casually over time, slightly more expensive per pack but flexible, fun for comparing pulls head-to-head
  • Double packs: Worth buying for the DON!! pack — the chance at a Gold DON!! is in there, not in blister packs

Manga Rare Odds: Enel & Kobe

OP15 contains two Manga Rares: Enel and Kobe. These are both Secret Rare (SEC) cards featuring manga-style artwork. Enel is the primary chase due to his popularity and the new Enel deck mechanics introduced in the set; Kobe appeals to arc completionists and narrative collectors.

Pull rate context

No official rates exist. Based on community data from OP15 and comparable sets:

ScenarioEstimated Odds
Any Manga Rare per pack~1 in 200–400 packs
Any Manga Rare per box (24 packs)~1 in 8–17 boxes
Any Manga Rare per case (288 packs)~0–1 per case; many cases yield zero
Specific Manga Rare (e.g., Enel only) per pack~1 in 400–800 packs

The financial maths are stark. If you are specifically chasing the Enel Manga Rare and packs cost roughly SGD $7–$9 each (depending on format and source), the expected spend to pull the specific card you want runs into thousands of dollars. The single consistently trades for a fraction of that cost on the secondary market.

The collector's reality

One experienced collector in a documented opening noted having opened approximately 150 booster boxes of OP05 — roughly 3,600 packs — and pulling the OP05 Gear Five Manga Luffy exactly once. That card later sold at its peak for USD $18,000. The rarity is real, and the value of Manga Rares reflects it.

Gold DON!! Pull Rate in OP15

The OP15 Gold DON!! features stunning artwork depicting a map ascending into Sky Island — widely considered one of the best Gold DON!! designs in the game's history. Here is what the data shows:

  • Estimated rate: approximately 2 Gold DON!! per case (12 boxes)
  • Per-box average: 1 in 6 boxes, or ~1 per 144 packs
  • Source: Gold DON!! cards appear exclusively in the DON!! pack included with double packs, not in standard booster packs
  • Tip: If chasing Gold DON!!, buy double packs rather than loose blisters — blisters do not contain the DON!! pack

In a documented case opening (12 boxes + double packs), the Gold DON!! was pulled in the very first double pack of the session — a reminder that variance works both ways. Another session recorded the first Gold DON!! not appearing until the second box's double pack.

Should You Open OP15 or Buy Singles?

If you want the Enel Manga Rare

Buy the single. The expected cost to pull it through packs is multiple times the secondary market price of the card itself. OP15 singles are available through One Piece TCG marketplaces and community sellers. Check current listings before buying — Manga Rare prices can move significantly based on competitive demand and new deck releases.

If you want to build the Enel deck competitively

The playable pieces for Enel decks (SRs, key uncommons, specific event cards) are obtainable in 1–3 boxes with some luck, or more reliably through singles. A competitive Enel deck does not require the Manga Rare — the Manga Rare is a collector piece, not a gameplay staple. Source your competitive SRs through a combination of opening and targeted single purchases.

If you want to open for the experience

Set a budget you are comfortable with losing entirely (assume no Manga Rare, assume standard SEC rate). A booster box or two gives you a meaningful opening session with realistic expectations of hitting 3–4 SRs, a decent chance at an alt art rare, and a reasonable (not guaranteed) shot at a SEC. Enjoy the SKy Island artwork — this is one of the more visually impressive OP sets in recent memory.

If you are buying sealed for value

Sealed OP15 boxes have appreciated post-release across most One Piece TCG sets, particularly sets with popular arc themes. Sky Island is one of the most beloved arcs in the franchise, and the Enel Manga Rare provides a strong collector anchor. Sealed product tends to hold value better than individual packs. Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct light.
