Prices sourced from PriceCharting as of 4 June 2026. Unlike early-release data, this set has had sufficient market time for prices to partially stabilise — though the top SIR tier can still move significantly. All figures focus on ungraded prices; graded market data is available but thinner.
Market Overview
USD converted to SGD at 1.28×.
Ascended Heroes is notable for a wider-than-usual divergence between the JP and EN card pools. The EN set adds an entirely new set of Mega Evolution starters (Meganium, Emboar, Feraligatr) and a Mega Charizard Y ex that have no JP counterpart, while the JP set retains Mega Charizard X ex, Mega Gardevoir ex, and Mega Lucario ex full arts that were dropped from EN. This makes direct JP/EN comparison more nuanced than most sets.
Three headline pricing patterns:
- EN SIR premiums are very wide — averaging 3.2× with Pikachu ex at 4.36× and Mega Gengar ex at 3.22×
- EN-exclusive chase cards command real money — Mega Charizard Y ex at $600 EN with no JP equivalent; the three new starter Megas add $70–$155 each
- EN base cards are significantly cheaper than JP — averaging 0.52× (EN is roughly half the JP price)

| Mega Eelektross ex | #235 / $10.25 | #278 / $41.99 (SGD $54) | 4.10× |
Mega Gengar ex leads all matched cards at SGD $1,671 EN. Pikachu ex SIR is the widest premium at 4.36× — the JP card (#234) at $276 versus the EN card (#276) at $1,203. This gap likely reflects stronger EN collector demand for the Pikachu artwork combined with EN supply constraints at the top end.
Iono's Bellibolt ex is the most fairly priced SIR at 1.74×, and Steven's Metagross ex (SGD $134 EN, 2.75×) shows consistent sales volume across both markets, making it one of the more liquid SIRs in the set.
EN-Only Cards
Ascended Heroes has several high-value cards that do not exist in the JP MEGA Dream ex set. These are unique to EN buyers:
| Card | EN # / Rarity | EN Price (USD / SGD) | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Charizard Y ex | #294 / Special Rare | $599.98 / SGD $768 | No JP equivalent; JP has Mega Charizard X ex (#223 FA) at ~$46 |
| Pikachu ex (alt art) | #277 / SIR | $459.49 / SGD $588 | EN has 2 Pikachu ex SIRs; JP has 1 (#234) |
| Lillie's Clefairy Ex | #280 / SIR | $192.63 / SGD $247 | No JP SIR equivalent |
| Mega Feraligatr Ex | #274 / FA Pokémon ex | $155.29 / SGD $199 | New EN starter Mega — no JP counterpart |
| Mega Meganium Ex | #272 / FA Pokémon ex | $92.96 / SGD $119 | New EN starter Mega — no JP counterpart |
| Mega Emboar ex | #273 / FA Pokémon ex | $69.27 / SGD $89 | New EN starter Mega — no JP counterpart |

| Mega Gengar ex | #125 / Base | ~$6.00 / SGD $8 | Base version — EN has it in base, JP does not |
The three new starter Mega evolutions are the most significant structural addition. EN collectors get access to Mega Feraligatr Ex, Mega Meganium Ex, and Mega Emboar ex as FA cards — these are EN exclusives that add roughly $317 worth of unique EN chase value over the JP set.
JP-Only Cards
The JP MEGA Dream ex set retains several full art cards that were dropped from EN:
| Card | JP # / Rarity | JP Price (USD / SGD) |
|---|---|---|
| Mega Charizard X ex | #223 / FA Pokémon ex | $45.58 / SGD $58 |
| Mega Lucario ex | #228 / FA Pokémon ex | $10.37 / SGD $13 |
| N's Zekrom | #210 / Foil | $7.85 / SGD $10 |
| Mega Gardevoir ex | #226 / FA Pokémon ex | $6.86 / SGD $9 |
Mega Charizard X ex is the standout JP exclusive at SGD $58 — a full art that EN buyers will need to import from Japan if they want it. Notably, EN has Mega Charizard Y ex as its exclusive at $600, while JP has Mega Charizard X ex as its FA exclusive at $46 — the two sets effectively offer different Charizard artworks at very different price points.

Foil Variants (#194–213 JP / #218–250 EN)
EN foils carry significant premiums — the section averages 4.2× EN over JP. Top foils by EN/JP ratio:
| Card | JP (USD / SGD) | EN (USD / SGD) | EN/JP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Psyduck | $21.51 / SGD $28 | $104.43 / SGD $134 | 4.85× |
| Team Rocket's Dugtrio | $3.30 / SGD $4 | $15.89 / SGD $20 | 4.82× |
| Team Rocket's Mimikyu | $7.08 / SGD $9 | $29.92 / SGD $38 | 4.23× |
| Drakloak | $3.18 / SGD $4 | $12.55 / SGD $16 | 3.95× |
| Dreepy | $3.14 / SGD $4 | $12.00 / SGD $15 | 3.82× |
| Cynthia's Spiritomb | $4.11 / SGD $5 | $15.49 / SGD $20 | 3.77× |
Psyduck foil stands out at $104 EN vs $22 JP (4.86×) — driven by collector demand for the Psyduck artwork in English. The Team Rocket's Mimikyu foil (SGD $38 EN) and Team Rocket's Dugtrio (SGD $20 EN) show similar patterns where EN collectors pay a 4× premium for the Team Rocket's themed foils.
The Dreepy/Drakloak foil pair (both ~4×) reflects EN collector interest in the Dragapult evolution line. JP buyers can access these foils at roughly 25% of EN price.
Full Art Trainers (#247–249 JP / #291–293 EN)
| Card | JP (USD / SGD) | EN (USD / SGD) | EN/JP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canari | #248 / $34.49 / SGD $44 | #291 / $42.50 / SGD $54 | 1.23× |

| Surfer | #249 / $8.47 / SGD $11 | #293 / $26.56 / SGD $34 | 3.14× |
Canari and Iris's Fighting Spirit show the tightest EN/JP premiums in the entire set (1.23× and 1.65× respectively) — the two most competitively priced cross-market cards available. Surfer at 3.14× is the outlier, driven by EN collector demand for the artwork.
Base Pokémon Tier (#1–145 JP / #1–179 EN)
EN base cards average 0.52× of JP prices — EN is roughly half the JP price across most base commons and uncommons. Notable base ex cards where EN trades at or above JP:
- Mega Dragonite ex: EN $6.09 (SGD $8) vs JP $2.00 — 3.04×
- Mega Froslass ex: EN $5.75 (SGD $7) vs JP $1.24 — 4.64×
- Pikachu ex: EN $4.83 (SGD $6) vs JP $2.59 — 1.86×
- Fezandipiti ex: EN $4.00 (SGD $5) vs JP $1.36 — 2.94×
Typical base common/uncommon: JP $1.50–$2.00 (SGD $2–SGD $3), EN $0.20–$0.60 (SGD $0–SGD $1).
Mega Hyper Rare: Mega Dragonite ex (#250 JP / #295 EN)
| Version | JP (USD / SGD) | EN (USD / SGD) | EN/JP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mega Dragonite ex MHR | #250 / $210.25 / SGD $269 | #295 / $306.50 / SGD $392 | 1.46× |
Unlike Chaos Rising where the JP Hyper Rare commanded a significant premium over EN, Ascended Heroes has EN pricier at 1.46×. At SGD $392 EN vs SGD $269 JP, the SGD $123 gap makes the JP version notably better value for collectors who can source it.
